I was disheartened for most of the earliest part of this year. I stopped making art almost completely after dealing with some arrogant and nasty gallery owners. I thought: "Why put myself through all this constant attitude bullshit - especially when it's coming out of the mouths of twenty-somethings - not to mention that I'm getting nothing in the process?" And so I simply stopped. Recently - my husband bought me cartload of new equipment - and software - left it all on my work table - without speaking a word. I got the hint. Some weeks later - I'm back at it - with my "fuck you if you don't like my art" retort ready to fire off on any who dare tread on this old tomcat's tail...Ha!!!
