'Winds and Currents' reflects forces that shape our earth and lives, ENERGY & MOVEMENT. The Duluth Public Art Commission selected this new terrazzo floor design to connect the Auditorium and the new Amsoil Ice Arena (in the Duluth Entertainment & Convention Center).

A commissioned public art project, this design transforms a 3,400 square foot traffic area into its own unique space which now can be used for receptions, public meetings and fundraisers. Flowing lines imitate nature, especially in the water which cascades down the stairs.

Received the 2011 Honor Award by the National Terrazzo & Mosaic Assoc.
