Statement

The design of the red streaked glass was created by chance. It began as a square that was purposefully broke. The broken peices were then flipped over, so the outer edge of the square now defined the edge of the square on the inside. In a sense, the glass was turned inside out. I used clear, wrinkled glass for the inner square to reference the process.
This piece measures 9 1/2" x 6". A black patina was applied to the solder and there is a loop on the top for hanging.
