I saw this photograph in the local newspaper right before Hurricane Katrina and when we had not yet become so numbed by the impact of storms. It is a fishing village in Central America and the local fishermen had piled up the boats to ride out the coming storm. I loved the colorful boats and buildings.
Well, it is sold, so that is the best comment I can think of! It is one of my favorite paintings.
