Statement

My photography style and interest involves neutral reportage with pre-intellectual intuitive confidence in the lucky accident. A documentary approach directed toward personal ends that involves photographing ordinary life with a minimum of theorizing, narrative, and controlled containment. An apolitical casual imagemaking that has to do with capturing iron, formal wit, Surrealist incongruity and visual energy in the commonplace, creating a contrast between the subject and image.
