A young man with feathers and day-glo highlights in his hair approaches us. He is polite and earnest. He explains that he has just been watching us from his apartment and would like to know if I could do a series of headshots for his career as a singer and actor. I apologize; we have dinner plans soon and I leave in the morning. He tells us about his audition for American Idol.
