i am entranced by water. i mean, think about it - our bodies are made up of mostly water, and the Earth is 3/4 water. it's a TOTALLY different world down under. as a diver, i have been fortunate enough to enjoy the spectacular magic of the sea. this giant clam looked like an impressionist painting at 100 feet below. the colors were so vivid, that it almost seemed unreal. God's natural beauty is truly astounding! i was afraid that the spectrum of color would not come through since the photo was shot at such a depth. i was pleasantly surprised when i developed the roll of film!

viewers first reactions are always of disbelief. most people, having never dove, have no idea of the beauty that lies in the ocean deep. several people have commented how they had no idea that color could be so intense so far below.
