(.gif) I used a drawing from my 1990's coop class at the University of Minnesota. At Irving Plaza in New York, Adam Crystal's band Fisherspooner used the colors and nude figures in a Halloween stage show in 2005.
(.gif) When I designed the desktop wall paper, I found that the back ground needed to contain gradations or divisions to hold attention. I used colors and Photoshop effects to create the variety I needed.
(.gif) I used colors from the dopo yume.com web site to make the wallpaper. I was surprised how color preferences had changed since my childhood. Fluorescent colors replace bright primary color.
(.gif) A simple combination of pictures of the band members also became art for an article about the band on a New York fashion district web site.
(.gif) Singer and guitar player Jordan Galland had made his own version of desktop wall paper.

My Stone Pony screen saver for Kristina Perez and the avant garde Manhattan music group dopo yumé. Using street-team photographs of the group's performance at the Stone Pony night club, the group performs in a space station and returns to Earth in a space shuttle. To download the set-up file and install the screensaver Click here. Use cntrl+alt+delete to close the screensaver after each use.

In October, 2005, I visited with Jordan Galland and David Mueller from the band performing at Don Hill's in Greenwich Village, and I saw Adam Crystal perform at Irving Plaza. Jordan has released an award winning independent film, "Smile for the Camera," and the band has released a new album. Band member Sean Lennon has also premiered his new solo song "Dead Meat," on East Village Radio and on his MySpace.com blog.
I've submitted the three-minute video dopo yume screensavers to play at the Free-First-Saturday Family Day screening of films and videos from mnartists.org at the Walker Art Center on February 2, 2008.
Read my bed-side telephone interview with Yoko Ono in "A Fluxus Amung-us," from Cake magazine, April,1993. Time magazine paraphrased my sentence, "The contents of the cases, categorized and named, is evidence that the Fluxus artists captured life's objects, sounds, movements, images, and feelings and dropped them in our laps." in an article about authors Lewis Carol and John Lennon. Yoko Only, the Yoko Ono fan club, republished my article in their web database. I was thinking about the wild sounds of the opening of a Picasso exhibition that I read about in Picasso's written diarys, when I wrote this review of the Fluxus art exhibtion at the Walker Art Center. The article also mysteriously and sadly foreshadows the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.
