Statement

I live on the large Louisiana Oaks Park in St. Louis Park. It's my video studio lot, with a palace apartment building, lake, forest, prairie, and stadium lighting. I'm researching making an Indian war video there by watching the soccer players fall. One summer I decided to invest my time in photographing the carnival that comes to the park. I made a photomontage from the photos. The next summer I made a video for St. Louis Park Community TV Channel 15, showing the carnival scenes from daylight to night. At night kids were tripping over the muddy ruts in the ground from the carnival's semi-trucks. After my video, the park board landscaped the park, adding soccer fields, new stadium lights, and beautiful new buildings.

Reviews

For a few years I've been involved with the dopo yumé street team. Sean Lennon is a member dopo yumé, and director Michele Civetta produces music videos for the group. I was excited as news about Sean Lennon's new album "Friendly Fire" arrived. I found that Sean Lennon and Michele Civetta produced a music video much like a segment from my video "Carnival: Day to Night."
