I was asked to design the Winter Streetscape Banners for Downtown Duluth. They symbolize a message of peace in harmony with the season and among our three sister cities: Ohara, Japan; Thunder Bay, Ontario; and Petrozavosk, Russia.

These banners were affectionarly referred to as "The Peace Banners". I received mention in local newspapers and letters of gratitude from individuals I never knew telling me that they "liked them".
