Statement

As a student at the University of Minnesota, I drew and painted the anatomy of a cat as an illustration project. For a graphic arts class, I drew the cat in an abstract design on a paper lithographic plate. For the illustration project, I drew and painted the cat's anatomy on layers of acetate to make overlays. I also painted the cat's heart. I made all of the art while looking at a cat cadaver that I was dissecting.
