This poster was hand printed, variably editioned in two colors until just before my hands fell off. I think I printed more than 250... but I lost exact count.

The poster pretty accurately describes the show for which it was printed. The images that follow in this online gallery provide good documentation of the exhibition. The exhibition was nearly completely interactive: with several stations of devotional carnival games, a series of four traditional piñatas which were broken during the opening reception by children and adults, four prints and six non-traditional piñatas. The exhibition theme carried the work from pretty weighty personal and theological questions through unrestrained festive fifth-grade fun.

I remain severely and sincerely indebted to many good friends who gave me invaluable assistance with the installation, reception and publicity. House of Mercy's Louvin Gallery hosted this graciously show, providing the perfect physical and spiritual location. I remain deeply grateful to the many people who made this show a success.

Although this installation was temporary, it can be recreated.
