Compassion - wedding, anniversary, home

The text from Colossians 3:12-14 is a partial description of ideal behavior for a community of people, especially believers in Christ. It is often used as a wedding text.
Colossae was a small city on the main road between Ephesus and the eastern Roman empire. It was known for finely dyed woolen goods. Paul addresses important issues in this letter to the Colossians and wanted his letter read in Collossae and other places (4:16).
