I painted the mug I used everday at work when I was at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. After moving to MN in 2004 and opening a coffeehouse with my sister, we determined that it should be named after this painting for several reasons. One the coffeehouse supports artists and regularly hosts exhibits of local artists and also the emotions that prompted me to paint my favorite "work" mug - the vibrant color and the warmth of the coffee it held daily helped me get through stressfull days.
