This sculprture was discovered near Rome, by a farmer while plowing his fields in the time the Italian Renaissance. Most likely a Roman copy of a acient Greek sculpture. The right arms of the two figures flanking the central figure, as well as a portion of the serpent behind the central figure, the Priest Laocoon, have never been recovered. This drawing is my rendition of how I believe the work might have looked complete.
