Statement

Untitled (Manscape) is a piece that is less literal in its reading. I wanted to create an image that alluded to many different spaces, both inside and out. The piece was to have a stratification from the domestic to the wild. All of the qualities of the painting were to have a very interior design quality referring to America’s favorite gay stereotype, blended with fetishized silhouettes of men creating an erotic camouflage.
