Living History presentations portraying the lives of famous women explorers and naturalists. Programs include storytelling, slide presentations, demonstrations of historical mapmaking techniques, and geography and environmental education activities related to the travels of a variety of intrepid historical figures . Characters include:

*Isabella Bird (Scottish explorer of the Rocky Mountains, Pacific Islands, and Armenia)

* Maria Sibylla Merian (German naturalist, book publisher and explorer in Europe and the Caribbean)

* Freydis Eriksdottir (Viking explorer who led an expedition of Icelanders and Greenlanders to explore the northeast coast of North America in the 11th century

* Beatrix Potter ( British mycologist, scientific illustrator, conservationist and children's writer)

* Giovanna Garzoni (Italian renaissance botanist, naturalist and scientific illustrator)

* Annie Peck (American mountaineer and explorer in the Alps and in South America)

*Mary Kingsley (British explorer, icthyologist and anthropologist in the Congo)

* Fictional Character: Madam Pangea ( Instructor of Geography from the Hogwarts School of Wizardry )
