"Atta" from "Der Fluegehund Series
1/2002
This is one of my pieces from the "Der Fluegehund Series". It was made in part in response to the 9/11 attacks for a show entitled "War and Peace" at the Rogue Buddha Gallery 1/02.
This piece and all my work is responding to the changes I've noticed in people from childhood to adulthood. What transpired between Mohammed Atta's well adjusted childhood to his grim demeanor and subsequent attack on the World Trade Center? Did it have something to do with the toys?
