Statement

LAST OF THE MOHICANS was originally made in 1920, and features Barbara Bedford, Wallace Beery & a young Boris Karloff as an Indian. But in 2003, Davids, took on the daunting challenge of composing an all-new music soundtrack for this classic film. Davids has created a truly visionary score for chamber ensemble ( a 15-minute adaptation from the full orchestra version) that features the Composer himself on Indian flute, complete with cricket and bird sounds -- which all can be performed while the 15-minute film clip shows in the concert hall.
