North of Yellowstone and south of Gallatin Gateway, are the spectacular Spanish Peaks of the Rocky Mountains. A thin rough public road winds its way through Ted Turner’s Ranch to a popular trout brook, a Mecca for serious fly fishermen and women. With no quick avenue for escape, we did not wish to encounter a grizzly. Breath taking beauty at each twist of the road, it’s hard to decide which scene to paint.
I chose this view especially for the contrasting angles.
