This piece was commissioned by the Minnesota State University, Mankato Music Department, and took two years to complete. The subject matter is based on 20th-century music notation, but it is not meant to be a playable piece of music; rather, it is meant to portray music as a beautiful art not only aurally but also visually. Acrylic on six canvases, 8' x 12', 2005.
