“BAMBOO”
• “Bamboo”is an oval wicker tray with amber beads.
• Wicker is a generic term meaning “woven”. This tray is woven with round reed, which is the pith of rattan.
• The tray measures 20”(L) X 12”(W) X 2 1/2”(H).
• “Bamboo”, comes with a 1/4” glass insert with a pencil cut. The glass protects the painting, while allowing you to functionally serve your guests.
• All of my trays have multiple uses: serving, decorative and altars etc.
• The painting technique is Sumi-e. Once touched to the surface, the brush produces a single stroke.
• Bamboo (Chamaedorea erumpens) is used as a flower essence in the alternative healing community. Its mantra is “My direction is ever inward where guidance awaits for me.” Judy Griffin Ph.D
