"Dinner" is an oval wicker tray measuring 20"(L) X 12"(W) X 2" (H) and has a 1/4" glass insert with a pencil cut. The net-casting spider, Dinopis-subrufa, is painted in traditional Nihonga style. Nihonga is a two brush method. The first brush carries the color and the second brush carries water with which the artist blends the pigment.
